This morning at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, CJ Wilson Racing announced a commercial and promotional partnership with HD Radio. The twenty one mile journey from the CJ Wilson Racing race shop in Austin to the Circuit of the Americas takes approximately twenty minutes. The fact that the team haulers can leave the shop on the same day that they are due to load-in at the Austin track adds additional days of preparation time for the team and crew who are now already in what feels like mid-season mode.

The ninth round of the 2016 Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge was going pretty much according to the script until a rear suspension failure undid all of the outstanding work done by Danny, Burkett, Marc Miller and the whole CJWR crew both under the hauler and in the pits.
With a measured and controlled run to third place at Road Atlanta's series finale, David Hoch, ("LMR Harmonic"), clinched the inaugural CJ Wilson Racing Cayman Cup Presented by Logitech G. His podium finish was his eighth in ten races and it halted a run of three successive race wins for the Chicago based racer. His four total victories was the most by any competitor in the Championship run by The Online Racing Association (TORA) for the Forza Motorsport 6 platform.
